Failure to appropriately toilet can occur for a variety of reasons. Some individuals have never developed the necessary muscle control, others demonstrate ritualistic behaviour, others phobic behaviour, etc. A proper functional analysis must be conducted and treatment plan matched to function. Case study material will be presented.
